If you are new to the world of Procreate or digital art in general, it can be overwhelming, and I totally get it! So you may be wondering, where do I start? What brushes should I get? Procreate comes with a wide range of amazing brushes, but if you're in the mood for something new and unique, you're in the right place!
In this post I'd like to share with you some of my own brushes that are perfect for you, whether you're a beginner or a seasoned pro! Also with quite a few of my brushes, I include little help guides with all my tips and tricks on how to use the brushes to get the best outcome!
Multi Line Brushes - My favorite brushes, and most popular by far, are my Multi Line Brushes! They are perfect for drawing multiple lines at once, that have the same width and are evenly spaced! I love using them to draw rainbows, make fun doodles, and also some groovy lettering!
Rainbow Stamps - On the other hand, if you want premade rainbows, my Rainbow Stamp Bundle is one of my go-to’s! All you need to do is pick the rainbow stamp you'd like to use, change the size to be as big or as small as you'd like it, and color the rainbow sections in different colors!
Watercolor Brushes - Watercolor is one of the most popular paint mediums, and you can still achieve that look digitally! There are tons of amazing sets out there, and I've tried quite a few, and I've been so overwhelmed with all the options, and then never ended up using them. So for this set, I decided to limit the number of brushes and kept everything as simple as I could. There are three watercolor brushes and also three watercolor paper texture brushes, to help make the final design look as realistic as possible!
Glitter Brushes - If you're like me, you love shiny things! The Glitter Brushes are the perfect way to add a little bit of sparkle to your design! They're great for lettering, but I also love using them to add final details to a piece and make it feel a little more elegant!
Canvas Textures - The last brush set I'm going to recommend in this post is my Canvas Texture Brushes! This brush set is complete with 25 brushes that give any design the most realistic texture and make it look like you painted everything on a real life surface! I use these all the time, and they have never ending purposes!
